The Gré College for Scientific Beauty Culture was established in 1957 by Madame Barabara Gré.  Madam Gré trained as a beauty therapist in Europe, before migrating to Australia.  After arriving in Australia Madame Gré opened her own salon and soon had a large, dedicated clientele.  Before long, Madame Gré was being asked to train others in her special techniques and, recognising a lack of training facilities, opened one of Sydney's first private training centres.

The Gré College still trains its students with the European techniques Madame Gré introduced.  Out trainers are experts in their field, passionate about beauty therapy, and strive to impart that passion to our students.

The College moved to its current premises in Kogarah in 2005.  The refurbishment included updating equipment and facilities.

In November 2006 the business trading name and assets were purchased by Eckstein Australia Real Skin Care Pty Limited.  Since that time the College has undergone further improvements, including introducing the Dr.R.A. Eckstein BioKosmetik range for use in training and salon treatments.  New equipment has been installed, and the Eckstein philosophy of continual improvement ensures that the College will remain an industry leader.

The Gré College for Scientific Beauty Culture is a Registered Training Organisation (NTIS code: 91440) registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver Nationally Recognised Training under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
